Friendly local climbing comps

Our friendly competitions are a great way to put your skills as a climber to the test with routes set for any skill level. Whether your new to the sport or have been crushing problems for years these comps are a great introduction to competition climbing. For our friendly competitions the routes are geared more toward new climbers. The routes in the gym do not always reflect the fact that there are always new climbers joining UNB Rock and Ice so with fresh panels to work with our setters are able to put up some really fun problems for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re in it for fun or going for gold you’ll find yourself pushing your fingers to their limits for a chance to win some amazing prizes!

HALLOWEEN COMP

The Halloween competition takes place near the end of October. We have a prize for best costume!

Coming October 26th, 2024. Open-entry beginner-friendly competition. Many prizes, including for top climbers and best costume. Candy, music, decorations. Come climb with us… if you dare. See news page for more info. 

WINTER COMP

Warm up during those cold winter months with another competition in February.
